What's included in a Maid U Shine membership visit versus a one-time cleaning?
A membership visit is a maintenance clean, it builds on the initial deep clean we require before any recurring plan begins. Membership visits cover kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms at the scope we established together. A one-time cleaning can be scoped to whatever you need that day. The difference is that membership visits are calibrated to maintain a home that's already at a high baseline, which means we can work more efficiently and consistently. Do I have to sign a contract to join a membership plan?
No contract. We don't require one. Maid U Shine relies entirely on the quality of what we deliver to keep your membership active. You can adjust your plan, pause visits for travel or a renovation, or stop altogether with reasonable notice. The cancellation fee structure (half-price for Platinum, full-amount for Diamond and Silver if cancelled the day of service) applies to individual visit cancellations, not to ending your membership.
Will I get the same cleaning team every visit?
Platinum members get priority scheduling for the same team, same day, and same time. That's exclusive to the weekly tier and it's intentional. We know consistency matters when someone is coming into your home regularly. Diamond and Silver members are matched with a regular team where scheduling allows. If a team change does happen, we make sure the incoming team knows your home's specifics before they arrive.
Can I add a deep clean or a specialty service to a membership visit?
Yes. Your membership tier is a starting point. If you want to add an inside-oven clean outside your complimentary annual allotment, add laundry, or schedule something more involved before a holiday, call us at (713) 505-1613 before your next visit. Platinum members have the easiest path to scheduling add-ons given their same-team priority. We also cover holiday preparation cleaning if the season calls for it.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with a membership cleaning visit?
Tell us. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee applies to every visit, not just the first one. If the team missed something or a particular area wasn't cleaned to the standard you expect, contact us and we'll address it. We won't ask you to wait until the next scheduled visit to fix a problem from this one. That guarantee is the reason we've held 4.9 stars across 412 Google reviews. It doesn't mean much if we don't actually stand behind it.
How much notice do I need to skip or reschedule a membership visit?
We ask for reasonable advance notice to reschedule without a cancellation fee. If you cancel the day of service, Platinum members are charged half the visit price and Diamond and Silver members are charged the full visit amount. That policy exists to protect the team whose day was built around your home. If you have a planned absence, travel, a renovation, family visiting, reach out ahead of time and we'll adjust the schedule without issue.
